About this Book
While researching the ancestors of the women from the She clan who married Zhuo men in my family tree, Louise Skyles found this wonderful book in the vast FamilySearch.org collection.
She wrote:
There is a book titled Hua Xia She Clan-A Big Family. It is like the books about the Zhuo clan surnames — Zhong Hua Zhuo Clan Source and Hua Xia Zhuo Source that Kaitlin Chuo’s family had. It contains a lot of information about all the different She branches in China.
The Guan Tang She Jiapu states that before coming to Guangdong their clan lived in Fujian, Jiangsu, Anhui, Jiangxi, and Henan. Since FamilySearch does not currently have any Fujian, Jiangsu, or Anhui’s She Jiapu, this is our best available source right now to add some more She members into the She family tree.
